Nikon Team Realtree Camo

The Nikon Team Realtree Camo laser rangefinder is one of the latest additions to the range from Nikon. The key features include an eight times more coated optics magnification making the Nikon Team Realtree Camo a good choice for hunters and other outdoor sportsmen.

Hunters will be pleased that this rangefinder is able to give a true reading on the target even if the line of sight is partially obstructed by shrubs and leaves. The range is 437 yards with one half yard accuracy over this distance. Good accuracy and the ability to sight a partially obstructed target offer advantages but most huntsmen will also want to know how practical the rangefinder is in real use. Nikon have thought about this and ensured that the rangefinder is water resistant and measures only 3.7inch x 2.8 inch x 1.6 inch whilst weighing a mere 7 ounces excluding the lithium battery.

There can be little excuse for a poor days hunting and inaccuracy when digital devices such as the Nikon Team Realtree Camo are available to help.

Rangefinders calculate the distance to the target by measuring the time it takes for a laser light to reflect from the target. Consumers can relax, as the laser chosen by Nikon is eye safe. The electronics allow continuous measurement of multiple targets and the rangefinder has convenient controls allowing fast operation.

Nikon has a wide range of rangefinders allowing you to choose the exact model that meets your needs. Typically ranging in price from $200 or to $500 the various models have a range from 440 yards up to 1200 yards, the longer the range the greater the price slump. Some models have a camouflage exterior, preventing obvious detection, whilst others have a matt black or a brushed silver finish. Magnification levels also vary but not by a large degree, ranging from six to eight times magnification.

As you would expect from a major camera manufacturer all these rangefinders have been designed with precision glass and incorporate a digital processor to deliver the accuracy and reliability that this range is known for.

Ultimately the choice of rangefinder is yours and was relate to the activity or hobby that you are undertaking. Buying a model from a well known brand is no guarantee of good performance if the rangefinder purchased is not suited to you all sport. Notwithstanding this the Nikon Team Realtree Camo can be an excellent choice for the huntsmen.
